Blogging Rules

We have had a few more classroom teachers join the blogging world – Mrs. Schwan and Mrs. Merriam now have blogs for their students.  Check out all of the teacher web pages and blogs at Riverside!

Students should remember the following are rules to follow when you send comments on a blog.

  • Student work will only be identified by first names, last initial.  This is a safety issue.
  • All comments submitted have to be approved by the teacher before they are included on the blog. Inappropriate or sloppy writing will not be approved.
  • Please proof-read your comments carefully. Check your spelling and punctuation.
  • Don’t type in all capital letters.  THAT IS CALLED SHOUTING AND IT IS RUDE.
  • Please do not use explanation points repeatedly at the end of a sentence.
  • Always write in full sentences and words – no “text talk” please!
